Guidelines

Swapavox is a place for Bozavox users to swap BVX sounds. A few simple rules keep it useful for everyone.

Share what’s yours

Only share sounds you made yourself, or that you have permission to share.
Don’t upload other people’s recordings, songs, stems or samples unless you have the rights to them.
You are responsible for everything you upload.

Sounds should be made for the Bozavox BVX: the raw BVX sound, with or without Music.
Use the Bozavox standard layout. Mono: BVX only. Stereo: BVX on channel 1, Music on channel 2. 3, 6 (5.1) or 8 (7.1) channels: BVX on channel 3, Music on the others.
WAV or FLAC, up to 95 MB and 15 minutes.
Please add a demo: a finished recording of the sound performed through a BVX. It’s the best way for people to find your sound.
Give it a clear title, a few tags, and the tempo and key if it has them.

No hateful, harassing, sexually explicit or violent content, in the sound or in its title, description or tags.
No spam, advertising, or misleading titles and tags.

Rate sounds honestly, from 1 to 5 stars. You can change your rating any time.
You can’t rate your own sounds. Please don’t ask friends to pile on ratings for you, or against someone else.

If a sound breaks these rules, use “Report this sound” on its page. You need a free account.
A reported sound is hidden right away while we take a look. If it’s fine, it comes back.
Please report honestly. People who keep reporting sounds that turn out to be fine lose the ability to report.
Copyright owners can also send a formal notice. See the Copyright page.

New accounts can share 3 sounds a day for their first day; after that, up to 20 a day.
A file that was removed can’t be uploaded again, and neither can a copy of the same audio.
The exact same file can only be on Swapavox once.
